What Makes MediGuardUSA Better

MediGuardUSA was started in 2008 out of a desire to help our customers stay at home through their senior years. MediGuardUSA provides personal in-home or mobile, medical alert, and monitoring systems.

Dan Ward, president, watched his customers through the years leaving their beautiful homes. When the Emergency Response products became available, Dan and the leadership team saw a way to allow many customers to remain at home and keep their independence and dignity without putting a burden on their children for daily care responsibilities.

Dan is president and operations Manager for MediGuardUSA. Dan enjoys working with Senior Citizens, and loves working with them when he has the opportunity. Dan has loved electronics going back to his 10th Birthday when he received his first book on Electricity. Dan and his wife Gloria have been married for 47 years and have four blessed adult children and three precious grandchildren. Dan also serves in a marketplace ministry teaching Biblical principles for business. Dan has a vibrant relationship with God and enjoys sharing life episodes that have transformed his life.

Gloria Ward is our CFO and Customer Service Representative.

Gloria is Dan’s wife of 47 years and have worked side by side in the business from it’s beginning. Gloria is responsible to set up all of our Customers in our bookkeeping system, and with her expertise, she keeps things on track.

Gloria has a genuine heart for the elderly, and helped her Grandmother and Mom when they needed personal care. She worked at Bergan Mercy Hospital as a Candy Striper and then worked in Dietary for several years before starting the Family Business.

Gloria loves to travel and see different places and things. She enjoys her family of 4 Grown children, Christina, Dan Jr, Joseph, and Cathy and her three grandchildren. She also loves her Maltese Puppy “Blessing”.

David Storm

David is our Executive Care Consultant for MediGuardUSA. Dave began working with MediGuardUSA in 2019, and truly enjoys meeting and working with our new Customers.

He has been in the Medical Alert business for most of the last 33 years. David was responsible for growing the largest Medical Alert program in the Midwest while at Immanuel’s Lifeline program. His knowledge of the industry is second to none.

David’s knowledge and leadership in the senior community has seen him become Chair of the Living Room Caregiver Support Group, Chair of ENOA’s Senior Companion Advisory Council, and owner of the Comfort Keepers home care program in the Lincoln area.

David’s passion and commitment to serving the senior community remains evident to this day. David enjoys golf, fishing, and reading, and is married to his lovely wife Brooke.
